Accessibility Statement

What we aim for in accessibility at Count Me There, how we build for it, and how to tell us when something is in the way.

Effective Sep 24, 2026 · Version 2026-09-24

Count Me There is meant to work for everyone who organises or attends a gathering, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, switch controls, magnification or voice control.

What we aim for

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, on phones, tablets and desktops, in every language we support, including right-to-left scripts.

How we build for it

  • Controls are built on accessible components with roles, names and keyboard support.
  • Colour contrast is checked in light and dark themes, and colour is not the only signal.
  • Text can be enlarged to 200%, and layouts adapt to narrow screens and high zoom.
  • Motion follows your “reduce motion” setting.
  • Form errors are explained in words, next to the field.

Guests' accessibility needs

Hosts can ask guests about accessibility accommodations, and should treat the answers as sensitive.
